Paul Manafort Indicted

Paul Manafort was charged with 12 Indictments[1]:conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money[2], unregistered agent of a foreign principal[3], false and misleading FARA statements[4], false statements[5], and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

Manafort’s time on the Trump campaign ended up lasting fewer than five months (from late March to mid-August 2016), it was both an eventful period and a crucial one for Trump/Russia activity. Manafort has been on the FBI[6] radars since 2014. He surrendered to them on 10/30/17.

Below are the POTUS’s responses to case as he posted using Twitter.

The result of this find will lead to: renewed strength in the investigation, and a stressful time for the Manafort family.
