Huawei: Big Controversy or Small Hoax?

Recently the phone company Huawei has been under fire for relations with the Chinese government. Huawei created software for their phones that are to be sold all over the world, but they have a very strong link with the Chinese government. The US government reacted very strongly to this, saying that they do not want the Chinese government spying on US citizens using their phones. The software that they were making was actually a brand-new Operating System. You may know how Apple phones have iOS, and Samsung phones use Android, along with many other phones. Huawei wanted to make their own OS so that they could compete more with iOS and Android. Overwatch League: Stage of Madness

Just recently, stage two of the Overwatch League concluded in blistering fashion. The San Francisco Shock played against the Vancouver Titans in the final of stage 2. All of the players played extraordinarily well, and all of them passed any expectations placed on them. Some people that really stood out were: (Shock) Sinatraa, Moth, Super, and Rascal (Titans) Bumper, Twilight, Seominsoo, and Slime All of these players were amazing in this match and either team could have won it was so close. The players in this game produced many great plays that made the game enjoyable to watch. This stage has also had some incredible stories and teams making history. The Shock had a golden stage, which is a stage where they didn’t drop a map, so they beat everyone 4-0. They played outstanding throughout the entire stage, and they proved that they could beat the best in the season….


Philadelphia Fusion’s $50 Million Surprise!

The Philadelphia Fusion has decided to make a stadium for their team here in Philly, and this isn’t some small theater. The Philadelphia Fusion team has put $50 million into construction, and it is expected to start hosting games as soon as 2021. This is huge for video games as it shows that not only “real sports” can have stadiums. Overwatch was and is still one of the biggest games in recent times, and received a lot of attention on release. This will make it so that the game has a bigger player-base, and just branches out to new communities. Discord, Skype, or Teamspeak? Which one you should use, and why.

So here we have the three titans of voice and text chat, Discord, Skype, and TeamSpeak. These three applications have been competing for the best in the world in this genre, and we’re here to set the record straight. Which one is objectively the best? Skype released in mid-2003, and was a wildly popular app, as it was the first to really accomplish what everybody had wanted. TeamSpeak released in mid-2008 and was competing with Skype up until 2015. Discord released in early 2015 and was immediately recognized to be one of the best Voice and Text chat apps in the world. It conquered over Skype and pushed Skype into a downward spiral. Anthem vs. The Division 2: What Anthem Should Have Been and Why The Division Succeeds

     On February 22nd, 2019, the game development company, Bioware, released the game Anthem. Anthem had so much hype built up so everyone expected it to be an amazing game. Mandatory Vaccinations in Italy

On March 12th, 2019, Italy passed a law to make vaccinations mandatory to go to school. If your children are not vaccinated by the time they are six, the parents will be fined. Children are not allowed to go to nursery schools if they are not vaccinated, but the parents of lower and middle school will be fined up to 500 euros. This week at least 300 children were turned away from kindergarten in the city of Bologna. Before this law was in place parents could simply state that their kids had been vaccinated even if they had not, because the school, by law, did not need proof of the vaccinations.   Now we decided to interview some people on how they felt about the vaccinations becoming mandatory in Italy. What You Should Know About Osu!

Osu! Is a free single-player game, with a multiplayer option. It is a game based off of the DS game Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. It is a rhythm game for PC, but the developers are trying to push it to mobile. Although there is a test build for IOS, with a maximum user limit of 10,000. The creator’s name is Dean (Peppy) Herbert. He owns the company PPY, which runs the Osu! servers, and has its own file format (osz). The game Osu! is a game where you simply click circles to the beat of a song of your choice. There are countless songs (“beatmaps”) in the game that you can play. Glass may already be the most controversial movie of 2019 With critics on Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 36/100 and the audience giving it a 75/100, this movie has pulled up a lot of controversies. With Glass featuring the characters David Dunn, Kevin Wendell Crum (The Horde), and Elijah Price, people knew this was going to be an interesting movie. 2018 was a great year for gaming with such games as Spider-Man PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, God of War, Call of Duty: Blackout, and many more great games. The second trailer was released on October 2nd, 2018, exactly 72 days before the official release.
