Stranger Things: Season Two Episode Five

Hey everyone, I’m Luke and I will be continuing our Stranger Things series, reviewing Season 2 Episode 5, “Dig Dug.” I think that the episode did a great job of switching between storylines, as well as giving as an intense cliffhanger at the end. I’m going to give a disclaimer that the rest of this review will include spoilers. I truly believe that a show like Stranger Things is best experienced without prior knowledge. Ready? Alright, let’s start the synopsis. We left off with Hopper discovering an underground tunnel. Episode 5 starts off with Joyce trying to call Hopper, without success. While Joyce and Mike try to connect Will’s drawings, Will says that he feels what the shadow monster is feeling. Mike tells Will that Will can be like a spy, but Will feels that the monster can spy on them. We cut back to Hopper, who is exploring the…

Review: Titan XP Graphics Card

The Titan X Pascal, considered the best graphics card you can buy… just got better. On April 6, 2017, Nvidia announced a new addition to their enthusiasts grade GPU family, the Titan XP. The Titan XP is incredibly fast and runs cool while doing so but that comes at a very, very, high cost. The Titan XP runs faster and a little cooler than its older counterpart, the Titan X Pascal, but besides the faster performance and slightly better cooling there isn’t that much different between the two. Today we will be looking at the specs, benchmarks, price and performance of the new Titan XP. The Titan XP is the best GPU on the market, and its spec are, as Elijah would say, BLAZINGLY FAST. Titan XP runs on the same GP102 die as the Titan X Pascal, but sports a fully unlocked version of the processor. The GP102 is…

Hi again, Dylan and Riley here, and this is our sixth and seventh week working on “What’s Happening in the White House?”. Thank you for all your support; we will be continuing this regular column until the end of the year. In the past two weeks, Mr. Trump has signed the new travel ban, ACA /“Trumpcare.” Last Tuesday, President Trump signed his most recent executive order, the new travel ban. It is a lot like the last one but Iraq is off the list. It is in effect for 90 days again. It is still receiving a TON of backlash. It will not come into effect until March 19. The populace is referring to the Affordable Care Act replacement as “Trumpcare.” The White House has been trying to suppress this name, and they are calling it “the ACA replacement.” This bill is being used to replace the ACA, more commonly…

What’s Happening in the White House?: The Last Two Weeks

Hi, I’m Dylan with Riley here and these are the things President Trump has done in the past two weeks. He has greenlighted the Dakota Access Pipeline, started planning how to build the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, and started to dismantle Obamacare. Michael Flynn’s resignation and the Trump campaign’s contact with Russian intelligence during the election have been in the news this week. Last Week Trump signed three executive orders to benefit oil pipelines and remove Obama’s environmental protections. The Dakota Access bill says that the pipeline is “90 percent complete,” and only needs to get the permits and government approval to “construct and operate the DAPL, including easements or rights-of-way to cross federal areas.” Trump also signed an order demanding that the Secretary of Commerce make a plan ensuring all pipelines are make of U.S. iron and steel. There are “yuge” questions about what the orders will actually mean,…
