On April 5, 2017, a new student appeared on campus grounds. His name is Yianni Krontiris, and he comes from a middle school in his small town that he lives in. His old school, Strath Haven Middle, was not the best fit for him. He had visited various schools, but Friends’ Central was his top choice. On the day he first visited FCS, he had shadowed a student named Jared Miller. “He was really kind to me,” Yianni stated. “He showed me around the school, and gave me the best hospitality FCS had to offer. I was also impressed with the way how all the students were friendly, and it made me feel that this was the best school for me.” This past Wednesday was Yianni‘s first day, and he was really excited to see all the friends he made when he first visited. He was shadowing Elijah Lee on that day. “Elijah was nice enough to help me out on my first day,” as Yianni stated. “He is a really kind student, and he seems that he is always willing to help others. I am really excited to open a new chapter in my life, and I am ready for what is to come next.” Yianni is a very kind and very likable student. Let’s have our school give him the biggest welcome and make him feel positive while he is a student a Friends’ Central.
