Review for Satisfactory

Review for Satisfactory

By: Finn Neely ‘26

Hello, and welcome back to games that your computer can get fried off from, with the amount of graphics and objects in this game. This time, we review Satisfactory. Satisfactory, by its name, is a factory game unlike any other.

Satisfactory currently has some very amazing landscapes ranging from 4 different maps, 2 for beginners, 1 intermediate, and 1 super-duper hard map, where everything either runs smoothly and you get to relax, or chaos ensues as something doesn’t work, it’s not fun trying to figure it out…

But besides that, Satisfactory has come a long way, from only being a small open-world to creating a factory, to a multiplayer multi-chaos session when your computer just dies as it can handle so many factory buildings that computer slows from 60 fps to 24 fps in a matter of seconds when you enter your big main area where there is so many parts, factory buildings, but end result is worth it when everything works smoothly, as of course the name of the game is Satisfactory, after all.

The physics engine is a whole new thing, as it is very broken, as you can rubber band yourself through the air, using Hyper tubes (fast travel vacuum tubes) that if put in a short distance, can make you the fasted thing around that block,

Many people have played this game, being Let’s Game it Out’s Video, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and many more. The graphics are stunning if you have a mid-high range PC, as some stunning views will take place until you turn it into a wasteland of conveyer belts, factory components, and materials because this game is about harvesting a planet’s resources, after all. But when it comes to PC Requirements, it’s pretty limited as they are surprising, as it requires a good system, but the minimum is to run this game would be:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.
  • OS: Windows 7 or later (64-bit)
  • Processor i5-3570 3.4 GHz 4 Core.
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM.
  • Graphics: Dedicated Graphics Card, GTX 770 2GB
  • Storage 15 GB available space.
  • Optional: An Internet connection for multiplayer gameplay.

Thanks for coming around to games that your computer can get fried off of, and have a satisfactory day!
